Batman and Doc Savage. Brian Azerello and Phil Noto. DC Comics. 2009


For fans, Doc Savage has been to comics what Madonna has been to movies: attempts into the medium are always short-lived.. So one can credit Azerello with at least a well-thought out approach. He pairs Savage with one of DC's most popular heroes, eschews any period flavor since only Indiana Jones appears to be good box office for pulp, and then gives the series a conspiratorial criminal organization.
